INBEOM SONG
more Song Inbeom explores his connection to materials through a pictorial endeavor reminiscent of brushing paint onto a three-dimensional canvas. Song focuses on the material phenomena that occur in the process of stroking across a glass vase still charged with thermal energy, and his final works convey the sensory experience of this process. The strokes in his works are a medium that exists in relation to another space or realm, and the porous relationality between the two realms is embodied through the properties of glass. The vessels which bear witness to  brush strokes  capture the event of the encounter between one glass surface and another, as well as the viewer’s perception of the experience.
